Welcome to Doze SMS ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our services, applications, and AI booking platform (the "Services").

1. Data Distinction: Customer vs. End-User

Our Services are designed for businesses (our "Customers") to communicate with their clients ("End-Users").

  • Customer Data: Information about you, the business owner (e.g., your name, email, billing information).
  • End-User Data: Information about your clients that you process through our platform (e.g., phone numbers, SMS content, booking times).

You (the Customer) are the Data Controller of the End-User Data. We act strictly as a Data Processor on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and necessary consents to collect and share End-User Data with us.

2. Information We Collect

2.1. From Customers: We collect account details, payment information (processed securely by our payment provider), and usage logs.

2.2. From End-Users: When an End-User interacts with your AI assistant via SMS or voice, we collect the phone number, the content of the message/call, and the time of interaction.

3. How We Use the Information

We use the information strictly to provide, maintain, and improve the Services. Specifically:

  • To process AI-driven conversations and schedule appointments.
  • To bill you for the Services.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do NOT sell End-User Data to advertising agencies or data brokers.

4. Sub-processors and Third-Party AI Services

To provide the core functionality of our AI Booking Assistant, we share data with highly vetted third-party service providers ("Sub-processors"). By using our Services, you consent to the transmission of End-User Data to:

  • OpenAI, LLC: We use OpenAI's language models to process the text/voice input from End-Users and generate responses. We utilize OpenAI's API, which (as per OpenAI's enterprise terms) does not use your data to train their public models.
  • DeepSeek: We may use DeepSeek's language models as an alternative or primary AI processor. By using the Services, you acknowledge that data processed by DeepSeek may be subject to their specific data privacy terms and jurisdiction.
  • Twilio Inc.: We use Twilio to send and receive SMS messages and route phone calls.
  • Cloud Hosting Providers: (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for storing data securely.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Retention: We retain Customer and End-User data only as long as necessary to provide the Services and comply with our legal obligations.
  • Deletion (Right to be Forgotten): If an End-User requests the deletion of their data, the Customer is responsible for executing that deletion within our dashboard. Upon account termination, we will delete or anonymize all associated End-User Data within 30 days.

6. International Data Transfers

Our servers may be located in the United States or other jurisdictions. By using the Services, you acknowledge that Customer and End-User Data may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside of your residence (including outside the EEA), which may have different data protection laws.
